Telegram CRM: tracking leads across several accounts
Short answer: a small team that says “we need a Telegram CRM” is usually trying to remember three things: who the lead is, which Telegram account they wrote to, and what should happen next. Telegram itself does not provide a sales pipeline. On 13 October 2026, respond.io’s pricing page is the tool that actually lists contact tags, lifecycle stages and a Telegram bot channel. WATI’s pricing page and plan comparison do not mention Telegram. If the leads already sit on several ordinary Telegram accounts, a desktop inbox such as TGDesk (coming soon) can put those chats in one list. It is not a sales CRM.
What people mean by a Telegram sales CRM
The job is smaller than a full CRM suite, and that is why the search is confusing. A two- or three-person shop usually needs:
- A name, a username and which login the person wrote to (the shop account, a manager’s work account, a regional account).
- A stage you can say out loud: new, quoted, waiting, won, lost.
- One place to see unanswered chats, so a lead does not sit on the account nobody opened today.
Those three needs split across different products. Mixing them up is how teams buy a WhatsApp platform and then discover their Telegram customers are still in a phone.
respond.io: contacts and stages, on a bot
Facts below are from respond.io’s pricing page, pricing guide, Telegram help and integrations page, checked 13 October 2026.
The pricing comparison marks these on every plan column (Starter, Growth, Advanced, Enterprise): team inboxes, custom inboxes, lifecycle stages, contact tags, custom contact fields, closing notes, and a Telegram Bot channel (“connect one or more Telegram Bots”). The integrations page describes Telegram as “Connect a Telegram Bot to chat over Telegram,” tagged Starter, Growth and Advanced.
The help center is specific about what that bot is. Connecting Telegram requires a bot created with @BotFather. The FAQ says a personal Telegram account cannot be connected that way, and that a Telegram Business account or a Telegram Premium bot cannot be added. Customers message the bot. The thread then shows up in the respond.io workspace.
Prices on the same pricing page, in the plan data and on the cards:
- Month-to-month amounts in the plan data, which the pricing guide also states: Starter $99, Growth $199, Advanced $349 per month. Enterprise is custom.
- Billed yearly, the cards show $79, $159 and $279 per month, which is $948, $1,908 and $3,348 per year.
- Included users on the yearly comparison: 5 on Starter, 10 on Growth, 10 on Advanced, unlimited on Enterprise. Extra users in that yearly table are $12, $20 and $24 per month on Starter, Growth and Advanced.
- Monthly active contacts: unlimited on Starter. Growth and Advanced start at 1,000. The page says extra blocks are $12 per 100 contacts on Growth and $15 per 100 on Advanced.
The short plan cards put broadcasts, workflow automation and AI Agents on Growth and above, not on the Starter “includes” list. Lifecycle and tags are in the full comparison, including Starter. The deeper bot-versus-account difference is in respond.io as a Telegram alternative.
WATI: a sales inbox whose pages do not list Telegram
WATI’s pricing page is titled around the WhatsApp Business API. Checked 13 October 2026, neither that page nor the plan comparison contains the word Telegram. The channels those pages do name are WhatsApp (including WhatsApp Business Calling), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, a widget and wa.me links. The comparison’s channel cells print “All (WA, RCS, IG, FB, Tiktok)” for Growth and Pro, and “All (WA, RCS, SMS, IG, FB, Tiktok)” for Business.
The Growth card also says “Connect any 1 Channel,” with 3 users included and the line “No additional users.” Pro and Business each say 5 users included. Extra users are listed at $24 per user per month on Pro and $69 per user per month on Business. The page says per-message charges vary for marketing, utility and authentication and points at a WATI rate card. The rate-card amounts are not in the HTML, so they are not quoted here. The subscription price for Growth, Pro and Business is loaded at checkout and is also not in the HTML. This article does not invent it. The page does say there is a 7-day free trial, no setup fee for the WhatsApp API, and up to about 25% off on an annual subscription.
What the pricing page does list, and what a sales team would recognize as CRM-shaped, is contact management on every plan, “assign, track, automate follow-ups, tag and report,” and on Growth “2 select Commerce/CRM integrations.” The navigation calls a sales use case “nurture leads, build pipeline and close deals.” That line is the site’s own wording. It is not a Telegram pipeline, because Telegram is not a listed channel. For the channel gap in more detail, see WATI as a Telegram alternative.
Telegram’s own labels stay on one account
Telegram’s Business announcement (31 March 2024; page checked 13 October 2026) says people with Telegram Business or Premium can add colored labels to chats, tied to the folders those chats are in, so a chat list can show status or priority. The Business API says the Business feature set is free for Premium subscribers, and that connected bots are also available without Premium. Folder tags are part of that Business description.
That is a label on one account’s chat list. It does not record a deal amount, it does not show the lead who wrote to a second phone number, and it does not give a teammate their own seat. A second shop account needs its own login. How Business compares with a multi-account inbox is covered in Telegram Business vs a multi-account inbox.
A desktop client keeps the accounts, not the pipeline
When customers already message ordinary accounts, the missing piece is often the list, not the stage names. Someone has to notice that the quote on the regional account has had no reply since yesterday. Official apps keep each login separate. A desktop inbox is the product that stacks those logins.
TGDesk is that kind of app: one workspace for the accounts you already run, each stored as its own encrypted session on the computer, with unread, needs-reply and human-takeover filters. It is paid, coming soon, and there is no public download. It is not affiliated with Telegram, respond.io or WATI.
It is not a Telegram sales CRM. There is no deal pipeline in the product. CRM-style tags and notes are planned, and they are not something a public build lets you turn on. In-chat translation, speech-to-text and OCR are planned on the same terms. The app does not send bulk messages, and it is not a multi-agent cloud inbox. If you need seats, lifecycle stages and a bot channel, respond.io is the product whose pages describe that. If you need WhatsApp, WATI’s pages describe that, and they do not describe Telegram.
A practical split many small teams can actually run:
- New leads from a site or an ad, who can be asked to message a bot: a bot inbox that stores tags and stages.
- People who already have the shop’s username: the regular accounts, in one desktop list, with a stage written down beside the chat (a sheet is enough until a real pipeline exists).
- Colored labels inside Telegram, on each account that has Business or Premium, for priority on that login only.
Running the accounts themselves is covered in how to use several Telegram accounts on a PC. Other bot inboxes are compared in Trengo, SleekFlow and Chatwoot for Telegram. The head-to-head on price and channels is respond.io vs WATI for Telegram.

Which job you actually have
Buy a cloud CRM when the lead can talk to a bot and you need stages, tags and more than one teammate in the same workspace. On the pages checked today, respond.io is the one of these two that connects Telegram, and it connects a bot. Use WATI when the lead is on WhatsApp and you have read its channel list. Use Telegram’s colored labels when one Premium account is the whole shop. Use a desktop multi-account inbox when the pain is several logins and missed replies. TGDesk covers that last job only, it is not downloadable yet, and calling it a CRM would be the wrong word.
FAQ
Is there an official Telegram CRM?
No. Telegram does not ship a sales pipeline. Telegram Business, on one Premium account, can add colored labels to chats. A CRM with contacts, tags and lifecycle stages is a separate product.
Can respond.io be a CRM for Telegram?
respond.io's pricing comparison, checked 13 October 2026, includes contact tags, custom contact fields, closing notes and lifecycle stages on every listed plan, and a Telegram Bot channel on every plan column. The help center says a BotFather bot is required. Personal accounts, Telegram Business accounts and Telegram Premium bots cannot be added.
Does WATI work as a Telegram sales CRM?
WATI's pricing page and plan comparison, checked the same day, do not contain the word Telegram. They describe a WhatsApp Business API inbox with contact management, tags and CRM integrations. The subscription price is not printed in the page HTML, so this article does not quote one.
Does TGDesk include a lead pipeline or contact notes?
No. TGDesk is a desktop inbox for several Telegram accounts. It is paid and coming soon, with no public download. CRM-style tags and notes are planned, not in a public build. It does not assign deals or replace a cloud CRM.
Coming soon — paid launch, no public download yet
